I like the movie but, I think the title of this movie should be "The Kungfu Kid", because Dre Parker was trained by a Kungfu Master (Mr. Han) in China. Karate was originated in Japan. Unlike in "The Karate Kid 1984", the teacher was a Japanese old man taught the bullied boy a Goju Ryu Karate.
