Pleasantly surprised, the trailers didn't do the game justice. Also, yes the graphics aren't the best but honestly they aren't that bad. They'll grow on you slowly as you find yourself getting lost in the game, which to my surprise I found happening quite a bit. There are times when the world genuinely looks nice and I find myself just admiring the Pokémon going about their lives. Overall, it's fresh, the gameplay loop is pretty fun, and discovering new Pokémon out in the world is great. Not saying too much to avoid spoilers but overall it's a welcome change. Solid - 8.5/10 Note: I'm running it on a Switch OLED no problems.

Great game, I don't need to sell you on it, all the others will. What I can do is mention something a lot of people seem to be glossing over: HD rumble. This is hands down the best use of HD rumble in any game I've played. From your movements, to combat, and the environment. You can feel everything. One part that really sold it for me was a section were you have to run into a fan and all I can say is...wow. Get this game!

Aesthetic overload! Suda and co. hit it outta of the park in terms of pure style. Not perfect by any means, but a worthwhile game for those who enjoy unique characters, fun yet absurd stories, and great combat. Definitely not for everyone, watch a few gameplay videos and decide for yourself, but for me it's an easy 9/10 - Highly recommend.
