Great album start to finish. This has some of the best guitar work I've heard in a long time and the vocals are amazing as well. Great songs and musicianship. I'm glad Extreme are back!

This album is an absolute masterpiece of progressive rock and 1970s rock in general. Gentle Giant was possibly the most innovative and best rock band of all time and this is easily one of their strongest overall works and most accessible for fans of 70s rock music. Stand out tracks for me are Playing the Game, Proclamation, and The Face but each and every track here is a classic and not to be missed. Not just a great album, but one of the most interesting and memorable of all time for me. All of the Gentle Giant albums are wonderful classic pieces of work and deserve a listen.

This is a great album with good melodies and interesting arrangements and instrumentation. Encompassing everything from sophisticated psychedelic rock to classical, this is a very impressive work by what was probably the greatest experimental/progressive rock band of all time.

It's a great album overall. Design is very interesting with its percussion and vocal arrangement. Timing and the title track are very catchy and rhythmically interesting as well.
