Wonderful acting by Zhou Dong Yu and Jackson Yee, a gripping story and talented directing. 100% a must see and one of the best movies of 2019. I personally enjoyed the movie adaptation more than the novel.
Such a shame that the film was pulled from the Berlin festival and missed out of the Golden Horse Awards due to China's censorship committee.
