The show had a lot of potential in the beginning, but as it advances towards the end it becomes very disappointing.

Very overrated. Complete disconnection how the police still can't get his identity and catches a wrong guy who has a completely different physique. Lupin (supposedly) carelessly leaves traces everywhere, makes bad choices, puts everyone around him in danger. Why does he insist to go on live TV and leave no copy of the video at such vulnerable moment, and why does he take the family on a trip when he's apparently being a target?? I'm not sure if it's intentional in order to show the egocentric and obstinate side of him, but his character is rather dull than keen/alert/mysterious.

Not sure what's up with all the 5 stars. Actors are a bit too old for the adolescent roles. It's hard to find the stereotypical portrayal of introverted, cynical, and quirky teenage characters attractive. Neglective and divorced rich white parents, loving and family-oriented yet conservative Asian grandpa, seemingly average, lonely, or even weird teenagers and their "hot" admirers, the list goes on for the predictability factors. Bits and pieces from other rom-com movies. Typical storyline and bland acting (probably due to the story/script) yet surprisingly unrelatable. It's time to step up the teenage rom-com game.

Terrible and overrated. One of the worst things I've watched on Netflix.
