So, after just finishing this movie, I only have one question about this..... WHAT THE F***?!!!!! I waited years to see this, & when I got the opportunity, I was sooo excited because I am a huge fan of Suicide Squad (2016). But within the first 3 minutes of this movie I was already saying "oh no, this is gonna be tacky!". I will say this tho, even with my terrible internet connection that kept buffering every minute or so, it turned a 2 hour-something movie into a 4 hour movie, but I actually went through all of that because I had hopes that it would get better! Don't get me wrong, it did. James Gunn did great at keeping me on my toes wondering what was going to happen next... But it was kinda hard to follow 100% because the whole plot was all over the place and to be honest, really dragged on. The whole scene- the first act, confused the hell out of me. After that, it was plot twist, after plot twist, after plot twist. Glad to see Alice Braga randomly pop up in there from time to time, I'ma huge fan! But then Rick Flagg gets killed?! That was terrible. & It would have been cool if there was any mention about his girl from the last movie or SOMETHING familiar to help make it flow a little better... I didn't care too much for the word animations all throughout the movie, especially in Harley Quinns badass fight, that was cheesy. That was like a bad TikTok effect or something, just pointless & just... Too much .... And don't even get me started on STARRO! What in the actual f***?!!!!! They couldnt come up with ANYTHING better than that???? And then Polka dot guy gets killed after helping... Why is it that everyone got f*****off after that? Then u think it's over, but Nooooo that was just the beginning of another plot twist. I think the ending where "Rat Catcher" saved the day was a beautiful POV, but WHAT?! how was she even in prison with a pet rat in the first place? And even after ALLLLLLL of that, the way it ended REALLY disappointed me because we never got to see the aftermath of all of that long drawn-out plethora of things. I would like to know if "BloodSport" ever got to reunite with his daughter again. Like in the first movie... Do we not get any type of closure at all??? & I would have liked to see Joker, randomly show up for Harley, I could have dealt with everything else if something like that happened, but it didn't. Needless to say. In my personal opinion, the first movie was better. More serious, yeah. But Better.
