I’m 63 years old and I never watch Hill St back when it was a weekly show. I assume around 1982. I was and still am a huge NYPD Blue fan. So based on that I have to love Hill St. All the same writers, directors, producers, etc. Call it Bochco’s Crew. Many of the Hill St ensemble made it on to at least one or multiple NYPD Blue episodes. I’m watching every episode of Hill St now. Every bit as good as NYPD Blue. Amazing writers made a bunch of no name actors and actresses into stars. It’s not the actors it’s the writers that make a series. Too bad we’ll never get to see it done again. Very few of the story lines can be used nowadays. Too many people would be offended. Thank God for syndication!!

This was such a great drama. The one disappointment was Charlotte Ross leaving the show prematurely. They spent so much time building the Andy / Connie relationship only to kill it. I’m sure that had a lot to do with ending after 12 years
