Beautiful movie, make sure to watch it several times to get all the nuance and little pieces of the story. I love that the writers took on such an often misunderstood and under appreciated aspect of life and philosophy in a child’s movie. Our family has watched it several times together and each time we delve deeper into different parts of the movies lessons. Love the metaphor of the fish in the ocean, it really helps to explain these tough concepts to kids (and adults). The meaning of life is living, the rest is just icing on the cake.
