House Of Gucci was an insane ride. The character development of both Gaga and Driver were so smooth and my god did they transform. Gaga’s transformation (not physical, that’s Jared Leto’s gig) is perhaps the most extreme, the sweet young woman we meet at the very beginning is completely gone come the second half of the movie. Physically she also transformed now that I think about it, the subtle makeup made us see the many years that had gone by, the hairstyles looked so natural. Al Pacino is masterful, the whole cast was amazing. The one issue I had was the focus some scenes were given while others were super short, but the cinematography, the score (the little I was able to hear), the acting, the hair and makeup, the direction we’re all highlights with the acting taking the lead. I had a wonderful time at the movies for the first time in almost 2 years. So thanks to sir Ridley Score for an amazing year of cinema.

magnificent performances by Close, Adams and the actors playing J D. It was a powerful, timely, and poignant story to tell interweaving complex issues that impacted this family gravely throughout their lives and I would argue are issues that are very much present in the realities of many Americans today. Love the film, and Glenn Close and Amy Adams were stellar.
