Having read the books in my youth I was pleased to see the gritty, realistic approach to all aspects of the film. The characters were believable as was the setting and the director did a great job of introducing and connecting you to the main players. I was VERY entertained by the emersive film...its cinamatography and the music. It was an experience not to be missed on the biggest screen possible !
