Was a great movie my family goes back to 1820 in Texas my Great great grandpa was at San Jacinto Captain Jesse Billingsley he led the charge of Company C on the left side of Sam Houston he got shot in his left wrist He also went to wars in Texas with the Indians my wife’s margie’s great great grandfather was secretary of war Thomas J Rusk during the 1836 Texas Mexican war my wife also lost a great great uncle at the Alamo his name was James Rusk so you can see my family goes way back we have Texas blood in this was a great movie I only hated it when it only was two seasons I think each person played a great part . Would like to see more westerns on TV but I’m afraid that those days are gone for now God bless Texas we should never join the United States we should’ve stayed a republic of Texas one of the great men of Texas was Alexander Lamar he stated if we don’t join the United States there will be a Civil War some day and the republic of Texas will be one of the biggest of all but Sam Houston and his fellow Texican’s vote it down . He was right at this stage the republic of Texas would be almost half the size of the United States God bless Texas God bless the republic of Texas we should never surrender I’m sorry there’s some typos in this text I’m using the voice text which doesn’t do right sometimes but I’m trying to say is My family is proud to be a Texan my name is JIMMY R Berry my grandmother was Maddie Billingsley very proud of my heritage. All of this could be looked up in the history books it is true everything I print it in this text my great great grandpa Jesse Billingsley received 1202 acres for Fighting from the very start. The section he got was Katy Texas . Of course it was just PrairielandUnfortunately he gave it away he wanted to stay in Bastrop Texas and become a Texas senator he wanted to be closer to Austin! There is no other state like Texas!!
