This game is a let down. I’ve followed Call of Duty since the original Modern Warfare and this game is a slap in the face to people who enjoy the series. It has redeeming qualities like the zombies gameplay but that gets boring after a while and the campaign is 5 hours of shooting which is decent but the story could be better. The multiplayer is horrendous. It is a copy paste of black ops 4 with a watered down MW 2019 gunsmith. It’s maps are meh at the most (keep in mind there are only 9) and the gameplay is unsatisfying. The fact that skill based matchmaking still exists is a bad idea and whoever came up with it needs to check if they’re alright in the head. On paper sbmm seems like it can work where players are put into matches with others who share the same skills but when it actually plays it’s god awful. Out of 10 games you play, you get about 3-5 good/fun games while the others are just a rage fest. It feels like the game doesn’t want you to enjoy what it has to offer if it matches you with people who aren’t even in your skill set. They should’ve went back to matchmaking whoever has good connection to the internet and if your bad or good it doesn’t matter it will match you because that’s how it used to be. I would give this 1 star but zombies saved it. This game needs major fixing and I don’t know if I want to buy the next one...
