Been a long time user of xplane11 and here is some of its perks and cons perks- 1. massive selection of global airports with a poor computer will give ok fps 2. also massive amount of addons making the sim a very versitialle sim with me having over 50 addon aircraft and 5 sceneries 3. has many freeware quality addons 4. massive community to help you with your guide on getting xp11 5. default scenery maxed out is good cons- 1. default scenery could use a good updae 2. can use couple more default planes and more quality designed default planes 3. behind the massive addons comes massive cost that you can get sucked into (I've spent over 500 dollars on so) 4 - needs very specific PC requirements 5 - not popular and reviewed by popular streamers 10+ K viewers 6 - no way near MSFS 2020 graphics (keep in mind PC specs on MFS is worse than xp11) overall its a good and bad sim in one which can get you hooked fast whist spending a lot of money. i reccomend it for those who want good payware aircraft like real life. if you want better graphics then i reccomend MSFS2020. BOTH SIMS ARE $60
