The movie was good but it wasn’t perfect. I felt that the 4th act of the film was rushed and didn’t really provide that impact I would have wanted during the ending. I wouldn’t explain too much of this because I don’t want to give out spoilers. The movie also seemed to have dragged a little during the 3rd act which I felt lost a little momentum. On the plus point, cinematography, score and performances were brilliant! I wouldn’t complain if Adarsh Gourav and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas receive Oscar nominations for their work as lead actor and supporting actress. I also liked the original song from the film ( Jungle Mantra by Divine) which might get nominated at the Oscars as well. Overall the movie was good. I would give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 out of 5

One of the best films of 2019, Sonchiriya is a masterpiece! It rivals some of Hollywood’s best western-set films. What really stood out to me was the score which was subtle yet powerful. - something very rare. Ranbir Shorey, Bhoomi Padnekar and Sushant Singh Rajput gave stela performances, capturing the essence of their characters with great execution on screen. The screenplay, although at times dragged, will keep you in the edge of your seat. Overall direction is fantastic. The director creates the perfect atmosphere that is needed for such a film. The makeup and hair design is also very commendable; it seems realistic and not overdone. Sonchiriya should have been sent to the Oscars. It would have won a nomination for sure

Although this show wasn’t ground breaking, it was well written and extremely entertaining. I really liked the performance of the actress who played Devi’s mother. Her performance was honest and heartfelt. NHIE has amazing diversity which makes the show unique and charming.

Movies like these are important and must be encouraged, however, it cannot be given acclaim just for its powerful and relevant subject matter. The movie has to be well made for it to be impactful..and Chhapaak unfortunately was not. As much as I wanted to appreciate Chhapaak, the filmmaking aspect of it let me down. Apart from Depeeka and Vikrant’s performances the movie was a disaster. It was poorly directed and lacked an efficient screenplay. It fell flat to be honest. This could have been a masterpiece but it was no where close. The score and use of songs just seemed awkward. The songs were unnecessarily placed in between scenes and the score was underwhelming; it’s intention was to make you feel for the character but that’s what they’re doing wrong - the subject matter is already heavy and therefore does not require such heavy musical notes. The audience is not oblivious to understand that a moment is happy or sad. As a result, You are made to feel for the scene rather than you doing it yourself naturally; and this ironically becomes less impactful. Overall It is a very mediocre film. Something I did not expect form such a talented Director. I would give it 1.5/5 Stars.

I’ll be honest, I’m not someone who enjoys movies like these but this wasn’t that bad. I went in as a dare expecting some bakwas content but was taken back as I this was actually funny. Saurab Shukla is a genius...if you want some fun time with mates than I recommend you watch this movie.

I don’t agree with imdb’s 5.2 rating. This movie was brilliantly directed, written and shot. It genuinely moved me. Farhan and Priyanka’s performance was outstanding. They will be nominated in leading roles for their work. The only aspect of filmmaking that I would have changed was the comical score at times which just felt out of place. I would give The Sky is Pink a solid 4 out of 5 stars
