I enjoyed the show at first, but the intrusive in laws (mainly Marie) really started to get on my nerves after a while. Ray is also a horrible husband who doesn’t lift a finger whatsoever and Debra is painted as such a horrible person even though she’s just fighting for some help with the household and kids. Ray’s incessant begging for sex with Debra was also a storyline that grew old and tired. The relationship between Ray and his parents was also problematic. Just finished watching the episode where Marie invaded Ray’s privacy and read his childhood journal and somehow HE had to apologize to her?! I was appalled. I wish I could have liked this more than I did.
