I read the book twice and love the original mini series. This version was almost unwatchable. They made so many random and unnecessary changes to some of the characters I almost cried. None of the changes work for the better. The non linear way they told the story was confusing. I didn't even make it to the end. Watch the first mini series if you want to see the stand.
