A very good attempt to resurrect memories of the Tapan Sinha movie of 1961.Some changes and too many songs were not necessary. Acting my Mithun and Mini were exemplary. Abir and Sohini were good in their roles.

A gripping dark movie based on a real story. Abhishek acted brilliantly.

The first two films in the Shabar series were very well made. This one ( possibly the fourth ) does not match the standard set by Arindam Sil. The positive takeaway from this movie is Nigel's acting.

A poor imitation of Hirak Rajar Deshe. More political than funny.

Everything about Ritwick is great. But I can never follow more than 60 per cent of his delivery. Generally this is the problem with amateur singers. But why Ritwick? Why do directors not point out this to him ?

Excellent acting. Poor effort to connect 4 stories, though. Did not appreciate Paharibabu' s dual love episodes . Maybe, I lack in understanding love stories at my age. A disappointment after ' Macher Jhol' , which I had immensely liked.
