Poor, considering the cast. That typical non-funny 'funny' film where jokes are obvious and fall flat. Gave up half-way thru. Not a patch on the original. Boring compared to it. Very little bite or black humour. The lead actors try hard but hampered by the unfunny script. Things are telegraphed a mile off, the kids have that American 'cuteness', and the jokes are heavy-handed. Bleh! No witty, toxic repartee as in the original.

Disappointing, fragmented and repetitive. I gave it three stars only because I was interested in how the US is set up administratively to respond to something like this so I found the supposed process interesting. However, the people in the process certainly didn't inspire confidence and everybody seemed dumbstruck and lost composure. The Secretary of Defence commiting suicide?!! Oh, please! Surely these people in defence are trained to be resilient if nothing else. There is very little tension in the movie despite what's going on and everyone running around in shock and much of it is personal responses - the emotional responses take the foreground and diminish the overall scenario and large-scale effects. It's a copout to have no real ending as surely what decisions are made and how they effect the US and the world are all important and strike home to the audience the ramifications.

Exciting, graphic and totally unexpected. Emma Thompson really let it all hang out and gave her all: impressive.

One of the best mini-series I've seen in years. Just brilliant. Operatic in scale and tone. The acting without exception was faultless, as was the direction and cinematography and score. Emilia Jones is obviously a star of the future. She has all it takes to be so. Can't take your eyes off her and she's 110% convincing in every way.

Loved it! Probably the best yet. Each season has got better. Loved the setting and the music. The acting all round was superb including the Thai actors. Each story part of the series was strong and involving. The ending was kind of operatic.

Loved it. Hokey story but entertainment in the best fashion. Cruise suits this all perfectly. Two of the action sequences on their own are enough for 5 stars. Simply fantastic. Apparently Cruise did his own stunts which seems very hard to believe as so dangerous. If so, tremendous kudos to him as very realistic. Just great entertainment. Just suspend your critical facilities. Cruise looks great for his age and not overdoing the youthful look. He has great charisma, maturity of presence and to me is a very skilful actor.

Excellent. A 4.5. Much better than the Hollywood rubbish we get served. Great acting and story.

Sensationally good. Truly gripping even tho you sort of know where it is going. The acting, direction and script are first rate. Especially outstanding are the two lead detectives, the murdered wife Brenda and Ron's wife Dianna. But everyone is great.

Extremely good but very graphic, harrowing and violent. Hard to watch at times. Pulls no punches and no sentimentality. Very true to the facts. Incredibly brave men.

Could have been much better but it was essentially boring as most of the story was lesbien love-themed and full of lesbien sex in which I have no interest at all
