HORRIBLE film. Hopkins is pretty much finished. It's a shame , Hopkins has done this before. Famous actors should NEVER give up their name to prop up FASCISM.

I think that without all the BS spouted out of caviezels pie hole it would have been great ! I've no quarter for desertion....platoon should have fragged him early...would have been a much better movie ! Getting into a true soldier's mind ( not witts) would have been better.....
