First off, I will say this movie is very well written and accurately captures the trauma of being sexualized as a preteen girl and WOULD deserve five stars. On the other hand, this movie was written by an adult for adults that stars kids whose parents (and the director) profited off their children being sexualized. The inappropriate parts are only about 10-20% of the film, as it is a coming of age story about the main character finding herself and her issues with her conservative Muslim family. HOWEVER, it still makes me question what the young actresses will feel about being in this movie when they are actually adults. I feel like the director could've gotten adult stunt doubles to do certain parts of the film.
