I was so looking forward to this film, but it was trite, lacked narrative shape and organisation, had no cohesion - a blancmange of a film. Great acting, though. But, unoriginal plot and pedestrian cinematography. A missed opportunity and a huge disappointment.

Enigmatic, compelling, brilliantly cast and acted. Keeps you guessing until - and after - the end.

This is mythical, magical and full of portent. It's Tolkeinesque. Totally original, and compelling.

Thoughtful, intelligent ,visually beautiful and superbly acted.
