Bumblebee was cool, funny and entertaining but definitely a step down from the Transformers series, had low budget feel. I think bumblebee as it’s own stand alone film is Ok but as a Spin off from the The Last Knight it doesn’t compare and just simple disappoints. You would have to watch it without the Transformers series in mind which hard to do given that they made us believe it was the same series but just an origin story. Like X-men and wolverine. But wolverine still carried the same values as the X-men, looks feel and characters, and this just abandoned the whole Transformers series completely.
