Jack Karpoe

Without a doubt one of the best TV series (not just anime) of its genre and scale I've ever seen (yes, I'm throwing it up against western shows like Game of Thrones which I'd argue it beats out in many aspects even disregarding season 8). The animation, characters, narrative, and music are top tier and, despite the controversial ending(s), its themes are incredibly relevant to today society today and are intelligently handled. If you can get into anime or are already and aren't sensitive to violence and a dark, emotionally heavy tone, I'd absolutely advise giving it a watch.
