I was very disappointed. It seems low budget, and I wish it would have focused more on the Selena and her views on growing up as a performer. I get they wanted to show the families growth but it just wasn’t it. Not to mention I feel like suzette gave her character more screen time than even Selena lol why is suzette in almost every scene lol and why did she show her and her husbands love story that had nothing to do with Selena? I hate that they didn’t include Chris. He knew Selena on a level that no one in her family did. His perspective would have been nice. All in all, it didn’t hit the mark for me.
