Do yourself a favor and see this film alone. This is an experience you should see with no distractions. Joker is a 'comic book' movie that is simply just a piece of art. You see the destruction of a man; no sympathy of strings attached. The fall of ones diminished sanity is truly disturbing, and the film makes you uncomfortable and squirm... as it is intended. The film feels like a dream in the mind of Arthur, but a nightmare for those around him. It is a slow burn, similar to the films of the era it is emulating (the 70's) but the pay off is amazing. If you find yourself a lover of challenging art, and the myriad of stories about the most classic villain in all of story telling, then watch this epic masterpiece.

Incredibly fun, witty, and full of blood! It's a horror-comedy in every sense of the word. The best part about this film is that each character is memorable and enjoyable when they are on screen. It is not too scary, and overall the gore is silly enough to not 'wince.' Enjoy it and support it. More original ideas need to be celebrated and this film is certainly needs celebrating!

If you enjoy the spirit of the 80s, and the spirit of classic thriller/horror films I highly recommend this film. The actors are all believable and their friendship is one all can admire. There are subtleties as well so keep your focus throughout the film (especially the end). Speaking of the end, (no spoiler) it is a ride. I'm an avid horror-movie-watcher and I was caught off guard. Bravo to this film.
