The Prince of Egypt is a masterpiece of a movie. The animation is breathtaking. The score and lyrical soundtrack is powerful. The weakest song is Playing with the Big Boys, and that's still an absolute banger. Stephen Schwartz and Hans Zimmer knocked this out of the park. And there are some sequences that always choke me up. The Plagues? Haunting, I've goosebumps all over. The killing of the first-born children? Chilling, I've got goosebumps all over. The parting of the Red Sea? Beautiful, I've goosebumps all over (I'm starting to detect a pattern). The only real complaint I can think of is that Jeff Goldblum is in this movie, but he doesn't play God. Seriously, this movie is by far the best Dreamworks movie, and I can't think of another movie that is quite on it's level (Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse is also phenomenal, but even that can't match TPOE). No matter what your belief is, this move is incredible, and can be loved by anyone.
