This movie has some charm to it but... Spark character is blend and how can monkeys breath in space without space helmets the story is just boring and the villain is not even scary, if you want a movie that also features a society being killed or starved to death in a desert than make the villain threatening and can be liked and make the tone a bit darker and make the kraken be part of super weapon not just contain it in a shield and make some cool space battle. I know I criticize this movie too much but I actually enjoy watching it I Hope moviemakers can learn this lesson
