Invasion is now one of my favorite sci-fi dramas. While there isn't a lot information presented about the aliens or their intentions, the characters draw you into their stories with their intense emotional experiences. It's not an off we go to explore the universe like a lot of sci-fi. But an exploration of what people might experience as individuals in an invasion and society as we know it falls apart. The acting was superb. It's like being with real people in real situations, you're there, you feel with them, the love, shock, fear, heartbreak, grief, longing and resolve to survive. Don't want to wait for season 2. I want to know what happens to everyone; how they all survive. I hope very much that they all survive.
