Alright so I’m reading some of the reviews about the movie and I think you should all know that the message is fine, but the movie itself is atrocious. Jodi is not a very like-able character and is super annoying throughout the entire film. The whole concept of a tall girl (omg the horror) is just dumb too. Like maybe my school is weird but the tall people at my school are loved lol like no one has ever said “how’s the weather up there” mostly because that is dumb. I think it would have been a great movie if dunkilman ended up with Kimmy’s friend and Jodi ended up alone with her piano which was great. They should have went more into that I think instead of that horrible kiss at the end of the movie. And yea people can have their opinions too about the movie like OMGGGGG it was the best which is what my friend said and which I TOTALLY disagreed with but whatever. People are entitled to their own opinions so it’s fine(ish).

Alrighty this is a crazy one. I think this movie was meh and I’ll tell you why. It really just hurt me watching it. When the acting is not good and then the story is confusing, it’s hard for kids to understand. That being said, I think the movie was fine? Not even remotely close to a favorite but it was fine. I don’t really understand the reason behind making the movie and how a child could follow the plot because I certainly didn’t lol. The characters were weird and unlike able especially the main girl. She was mean selfish and rude throughout the entire movie but we were still suppose to root for her in the end? And the weapons should hav whine into more detail. I had no idea what the weapon at the end did and the powers too were terrible. Being able to tell anyone to do anything REALLY!!?? I’m just left with so many questions and very little answers. Her relationship with her dad and uncle was so weird. It seemed unimportant in the beginning narration but it was detailed at the end? Please make up your mind!! And when you talk about having second born royals because it’s in the title and only go through a few of the people’s older siblings in details it is confusing and adds depth to the characters so they should have done that better. But worst of all WHEN YOU DO AN ACTION MOVIE AT LEAST HIRE AN ACTOR/ACTRESS THAT RUNS NORMALLY. Yeash that was rough to watch.

I have read comments about how the movie was “boring” or “overrated” and to be honest I was skeptical to watch the movie at first. I loved the original so much and I did want it to be ruined by something that wasn’t as good, but I loved the movie. The fact that mushu wasn’t in the movie might have made me upset at fist but, I learned to not be as bothered by it. I wouldn’t say it is worth the $30 on Disney plus but I think when it becomes free you should watch it. To conclude I will say this movie was funny but inspiring and I would definitely recommend.
