So many moments of absolute, unfettered joy in this show. I am in love. Absolutely fantastic!

We were so excited for this new game to come out. But after playing it for several hours, our enthusiasm has dulled. Pros: We like the focus on research versus battling We like that there is more to explore Having to sneak up on wild Pokemon to catch them is fun Cons: It's not really open world. You can't traverse the map freely. It feels a lot like the other games where you have to stay on the paths the game provides The world feels really empty. The only things to find are Pokemon and crafting items. No interesting NPCs or Pokemon interactions Side-quests are just boring checklists of things to find, for the most part So much is sitting there on the screen that can't be explored. Complete inability to jump, swim, or climb until you have a mount who can *kinda* jump. We're still enjoying the game, but it definitely isn't the "Breath of the Wild" style open world adventure we were expecting. I'd like more plot that's actually plot and not just dialogue. The graphics are pretty "meh". Still, we're enjoying the parts of the game that are there. They just feel very incomplete.
