I cannot begin to tell how much I’ve enjoyed this series! The Directors nailed (no pun intended) Jesus’ humanity in ways that other movies, documentaries, series, and etc. hasn’t. Every single episode has me in tears. Having imagined Jesus in this exact context and setting and seeing it played out on-screen, in such a human way, further deepens my love for God. Also my favorite character, aside from Jesus, has got to be Matthew. I love how he’s depicted as being so weird and quirky. The Bible doesn’t exactly show us that about him.
