First and foremost, we can all acknowledge that it's tough to take a work of written fiction and turn it into a movie. A book can flesh out stories in a way movies just don't have the time to manage.
But many stories have made a successful transition, this one did not and it's a shame because it was amazing.
This movie, borrowed a few character names and a title, but little else. If you've read the book and you enjoyed it, do yourself a favor and forget this movie ever came out.
Unfortunately based on the ending it sounds like they are tee'ing up to ruin another Clancy property in Rainbow 6.
As if to rub salt in an already gaping maw of an open wound, Taylor Sheridan had a hand in writing this train wreck...someone who can and has on MULTIPLE occasions done truly amazing work. This project is to him, what green hornet is to Ryan Reynolds but without the humor. There's nothing funny about this travesty.
