I understand and respect everyones point of views towards this movie and I agree with a lot of what people are saying. I do believe that this movie felt extremely rushed and it lacked certain things that a lot of fans would've hoped for. It completely disregarded certain things that were established in the past films such as the relationship between Rose and Finn and also the fact that "broom boy" from tlj was never really explained. They also should've included more self doubt on the part of Kylo Ren, it seemed like he went to the light out of nowhere, and we as an audience weren't able to really acknowledge his feelings and the struggles that he was going through. I also think that sometimes the movie contradicts itself which just causes confusion. Overall, there were plenty of good things in the film but I do think that the fans expected a lot more and didn't really receive it.
