Such a disgrace to the original and a HUGE disappointment!! Very poor and chopped up confusing storylines, no character introduction & idk where they got the idea to start off in the middle having already formed the free zone. We don't know who is who! The 2nd episode though was what made me cancel my CBS All Access subscription, it was a complete joke! Idc what happens in episode 3 and beyond. This whole remake should have never been attempted if they weren't going to do it correctly! The plague is a HUGE part of the whole series and for them to cut it out as a beginning story line and protray it through flashbacks was their first mistake, continuing to shoot and film this garbage was the second! Owen King should be ashamed of himself and I know Stephen King is disappointed in this garbage! The whole remake is trash🚮 🙄👎🏽..The original one is on YouTube and after that 2nd episode of the remake I decided not to ruin my memories and appreciation of the old one so that is the one I am currently watching 💖😌

Completely turned off. For them to start off in the middle of the movie was a Huge disappointment! It's like they cut out the main and most "WOW" factor of the story, which is the Pandemic!! Especially in the times we're living in! There was no character introduction in the beginning. The only characters I was familiar with off the bat was Harold and Franny...and Stu eventually..Smh, such a huge disappointment on a much anticipated series. I waited MONTHS for this😡
