A 'present day' invasion movie, the action and special effects are really up to date. The storyline could be a little clearer, but the general idea of of the invasion comes thru clearly. The resistance movement is motivated with cross conflicts between the leadership leading up to a satisfying cliffhanger. This story is not resolved at the end, and this is clearly stated with the credits at the end saying "Part 1", so I'm hoping there will be a Part 2.
