I have two kids and one switch. I was never aware that only one account will experience the game. The other accounts will only collect and build your own house. No objectives can be completed for other accounts on the console.
It looks like a fun game but my entire household is disappointed cause it can only be enjoyed by the first account that plays it.
If i knew this before the game was purchased, I wouldn't have.
