Incredibly disappointed with this supposed adaptation. I loved the books and read them many times. Just can't understand why the writers and producers thought they needed to change nearly every character, plotline and the magic system. Why not make a new show if you're such good story tellers and world builders? Trollocs were done well, but other horror elements were, ironically, done horrifically and aren't scary at all. The ways, fades and padan fain are all meh. Sooooo many characters removed. Lots of new, pointless characters introduced to provide heavy handed info drops. Annoyingly these info drops arent really required until later seasons. The acting is fine. Absolutely hating this show so far. It has proved that you can polish gold into sh..... Waste of money, talent and an excellent story. Nerd rant over.
