I really tried to like this picture but it fought me all the way. A story of a man that needed to be told....but this was a horrible effort. Felt like it was made by a student that didn't go over their work. Acting was flat out bad. Lead character had no business in that role... It was like a kids interpretation (and a bad one full of cliches) of a cowboy from other movies. He wasn't the main problem... shabby production took center stage with horrible editing. Sometimes laughable chopped up scenes that didn't match and got in the way of enjoying the picture. This would have been a film historian nightmare. In one town scene therep historianas actually tinted windows on a clearly modern building. Picture just got in a way of itself.
