I was very eager to read this book due it being highly recommended on certain social networks, and might I add I really do not regret any second spent reading A Thousand Splendid Suns. It was very descriptive to a point where I felt as if I literally lived through the Afghan war. I loved how it educated me on the Afghanistan culture and how the war largely impacted the citizens of Afghanistan. I was more so surprised by the rights of women, which is one of the main theme this book dwells on. While reading this book, I experienced an abundance of emotions, from crying, and little chuckles to laughter as my eyes swept through each word.
I am very much pleased with the ending too.
So if you looking for a good book to read, look no further and get read to have your eyes fixed into this good piece.
