the album gets you a cool "80's Metallica" vibe, mixed with the new stuff they've been doing, it's like listening to your favorite songs mingled in a great way. unfortunately, the songs aren't thrashy, more like groovy, and some of them are pretty boring. I loved "Hardwired"(8.5/10), "Atlas, Rise!"(8/10), "Moth into flame"(9/10), "Halo on fire"(8/10), "Confusion"(7.5/10), "ManUNkind(7/10)", "Here Comes Revenge"(8.5/10), "Am I Savage?"(7/10), "Spit Out The Bone"(9.5/10), and "Lords Of Summer"(9/10). but the rest seems pretty forgettable and boring, the main problem that Metallica suffers these days is that the songs are too long, so if you like 3 to 4-minute songs you probably won't enjoy this album. But, if you like Metallica, enjoy the old stuff and the new and you like heavy/groovy riffs, then let this album be of your delight.
