It was a great cast of many characters! The plot was tragic but the acting was excellent. It was a complex plot well handled. Although not uplifting, it was well acted and interesting !

Steven Spielberg’s version of ‘West Side Story’ is absolutely wonderful ! Although I love the original 1960’s version, this was even better ! I highly recommend it !

A historic story that needs to be told and re-told. History often repeats itself. If we know our past we can shape & change our future. Amistad is an example of how we (as a early country) have past that are painful to recall. Yet we acknowledge our need not to forget our history. This movie does just that in its retelling. It is well done and worth watching !
