It wasn't fantastic or awful, it was sorta in the middle. Beautiful visuals only to be expected by former Studio Ghibli employees, but there's not really a great story or plot, or progression of oir character. There is no heart. I know Miyazaki guided a lot of projects that made Ghibli shine, but Ponoc can find its own way as well!
