Unfortunately, I perceive this show as joining other ABC TV news shows in just DUMBING DOWN the content and its presentation. What was wrong with 'This Day Tonight' and 'Lateline'? Sure political games are interesting to journos but focussing on them just avoids analysing the real issues facing Australia and the world. So now ABC TV viewers go to the polls with less help from our national broadcaster than in the past. All when Paul Barry is telling us that the quality of our newspapers is declining too. I say to myself at the end of each Insiders that I have not learnt anything and should not waste my time again. So that is it... 'good night from me and possibly good night from him/her'. At least the website has improved over time. One star = too disappointing to watch.
