It definitely deserved to win the Oscar for best movie. This tragicomedy is more relevant when we realize the South Korea socioeconomic backgrounds that inspired this movie.

Michael Ondaatje is a brilliant writer, worthy of seven years waiting for his new work. I expect him to win the Nobel prize in the near future. I loved Warlight mostly because of the writing.
