Pokémon is the best selling intellectual property of all time. Nintendo and the Pokémon company have practically infinite resources to develop the beat game possible, yet they don’t. This game is a cheap insult to any long time Pokémon fan. Everything from the animation, to the models, to the gameplay and new game mechanics is cheap. This was the perfect opportunity to create an amazing open-world Pokémon game, in the same vein as BOTW or Mario Odyssey, but it’s not. It shallow and cheap and I would not recommend it to either long time Pokémon fans or newcomers.
