If you've read the book it's best to think of this as a different story. If you think of it as a different story than the book it was entertaining.

I'm irked by the depiction of the underground railroad as a train underground. It trivializes the horrific journey that many former slaves made. I haven't gotten to the science experiment parts but for those who are complaining about it perpetuating vaccine hesitation I would ask you to read the book "bad blood.". Horrific experiments were done that were run by the US government in the early 20th century. The show may not be accurate but that stuff did happen and it's important for people to know about it.
