An incoherent, disjointed, pointless mess with zero character development outside of exposition. The only character attributes are "daddy issues" - horrifically one dimensional.
There are several tension sequences - the motivations for which have no explanation or connection to a wider story-line, characters come in and out with only the most cursory of development.
The writers mustn't have had any conversations with humans lately - from the first line, the dialogue - or monologue as it more commonly turns out to be is clunky, poorly written and painful. The dialogue is so blunt it is analogous to a weapon - as if bludgeoning the audience with emotionless statements will somehow cause them to buy into the characters.
We actually left immediately before the final sequence because the movie was so frustrating, even when trying to watch it ironically - there was much more cohesive story development in the most recent need for speed movie with the rock - and that was awful.
Oh - also there is a complete lack of any respect for physics which is frankly jarring.
In a movie which seems to be a genuine attempt at a human story - we are confronted with marionettes and dialogue one would expect from a daytime television Ad - and at least those have a point.
Avoid avoid avoid.
