I am a little unhappy with the jab at veganism in Chapter 93. And also, the joke on mung beans. I thought the show was about acceptance and love. Mung beans are a staple in a lot of Asian cultures. Why throw a statement like that which can create bias? And why the jab at veganism. That whole SCENE had no relevance to the larger story. Why diss a cashew cheese string? Is there no other content funnier? I understand, people might disagree with veganism the way vegans disagree with other diets. But why take a side and create bias towards a particular section of people. Subtle biases like this are an impediment to veganism. The acceptance garners friction. Scientifically, the vegan diet does no harm, so, this jab was not even like a snide remark towards anti-vaxxers. I am very very disappointed.
