Amazing. A story about a well meaning mentally handycapped man who befriends a young boy and eventually gives up his freedom to secure the boys safety and future. Thorton goes "full retard" in his portrayal of Carl Childers. This was before his career started it's nose dive into the abyss.

I liked this movie. A gay black man hires a white dude to drive him around the south for concert tour dates.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Great plot, great acting. A slow moving, historically accurate film.

A great film. Good actors and good plot.

They should have just left it alone, T2 was cool, but this one goes off the rails. No one wants to see a hybrid woman terminator. Plus there was foul language and violence which I thought went overboard.

One of Dafoe's worst films. Two drunk men stuck on an island continually masterbating. Nothing makes sense. A wanna be art film with gay undertones. One guy goes up to fix the roof and spends time spying on the other mans crack, this scene was totally inappropriate. William Dafoe is above taking such parts, though I would like to see this character in a Moby Dick setting, mabye as captain Ahab. I could do without the bare bottom and crack scenes though.
