This film was my first of the Marthas Vinyard series and it was great to see Jesse Metcalf again after Chesapeake Shores where I first became aware of him. The other characters in this production were new to me but I was immediately drawn to Sarah Lind and hope our NZ TV producers bring us the rest in the series.
I have come to really enjoy Canadian productions which never fail to please with many truly wholesome characters played by wonderfully competent actors. The Canadian productions have what is to me a unique quality of delivering captivating plots with plausible scenarios and frequently interesting historical references (e.g. Murdoch Mysteries).
Invariably Canadian productions feature many exceptionally beautiful locations filmed to the highest quality and resolution.
There is something refreshingly honest about Canadian productions in contrast to the frequently brash and overplayed Hollywood material entertaining as that can often be.
